Summer missionaries singing about the GREAT Good News of Jesus’ saving love! Read below for more great stories from the 2022-2023 year!

  • We attend various events to share about CEF, prayer with other believers, and share God’s love with children. In February, my family came with me and had a sweet moment with quite a few children who walked as well. These future leaders are the heart of the ministry for sure!

  • Dr. Magaret Jones, Principal in the Dallas County School System, said in a workshop held at Elkdale Baptist Church, “You see the genuine relationships between those partnering with [the school] and the children in the communities.”

    She also mentioned a lovely media specialist/librarian who said a child came up to her after attending the Good News Club and asked her when she would come to club because she needed to hear it too. These tiny new missionaries are amazing!

  • This summer, I was facing a smaller group of leaders. Then God orchestrated a phone call through word of mouth! One teen for whom it was going to be their second year said, “Oh I had so much fun at training! Don’t tell anyone!” (He was kidding :P). A mom called me and we had more teens! We drove over some pretty long distances where I got to know the teens more and share with them in their faith, prayerfully mentoring them, and seeing them grow both in stature and in leadership. Truly a blessing to me more than the kids! But always wonderful to see little children looking up to amazing teen role models, and giving their lives to Christ as a result.
