Let's come together to be Prayer Warriors.

“Fear not, for I am with you;
    be not dismayed, for I am your God;
I will strengthen you, I will help you,
    I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Isaiah 41:10

God says fear not. That’s quite a statement for today. There is absolutely so much to fear. Fear of illness, a failing economy, lost jobs, public safety, the list continues. But we as believers can take heart that God is in control even when we cannot see it. This is really the biggest scare I’ve experienced in my adulthood, and I am even left questioning what is going on and how we will get to the other side of it.

Children can especially feel this fear. What we are facing is quite possibly the biggest, scariest, most global fear experienced since the Spanish flu of 1918. CEF has an amazing resource we can give children during this time that I believe us adults should read as well. It’s the “Do You Wonder Why?” booklet. Normally we have it available at CEF Press, but as we are following guidelines of the CDC and WHO and our International Headquarters has made it available online to answer the need for physical distancing and to meet supply needs more immediately.

As we navigate through this together, I will be spending time in specific prayer for all of our Good News Club volunteers, our churches and schools that have partnered together this year in ministry, the children who are now home and facing the challenge of distance learning, and for our donors and community at large.
