These workshops will strengthen your evangelism and teaching skills in Sunday school settings, Vacation Bible School, domestic and foreign missions trips, or just sharing your faith with those God brings into your life.
At CEF of Central Alabama, we want to meet needs in the community by offering relevant and encouraging training in ministry. As you can imagine, in light of these (I’m gonna say it) UNPRECEDENTED times (haha), it’s difficult to know for sure what we will be able to do and when. Come join us for a night to meet like minded students who serve as summer missionaries with Christian Youth In Action. CYIA is an opportunity for teens 13-18 to be trained in sharing their faith and gain missions experience in YOUR community.

We are SO EXCITED to present CEF of Central AL's Spring 2020 GNC Training and Pancake Breakfast!
We have a fun twist this training! We will have workshops on Good News Club elements such as ensuring the club flow is educational and exciting, how to teach the memory verse and Bible lesson, and more.
But our NEW element is the Children's Ministry Resource Bible workshop! This one does have a cost, but you will get a Bible and it will be an in depth look at the Bible's resources. This includes articles about teaching children, aids for dealing with problems, many Bible lessons, and presenting the Gospel.
We want to equip you to have an effective ministry to preschoolers (and kindergartners) in the community, in your church, or in Good News Club. We will cover how teaching preschoolers (and kindergartners) is different, practical tips, and how to teach preschoolers (and kindergartners) when they are among older children.
Excerpt: “Little kids are active, unique, noisy, curious, growing, playful, emotional, energetic, egocentric, frustrating and lovable. If we’re going to teach little kids, then we need to gain an understanding of what they are like. How are they made? How do they think and learn? How do they respond and why? These are important questions to ask and to know the answers to in dealing with this unique creation of God.”

It is tradition that Child Evangelism Fellowship sets aside the first Wednesday in November as World Day of Prayer. On this date the staff and volunteers in the CEF family suspend their routine responsibilities to spend a full day in prayer. This special day is spent interceding for the children of the world and the workers called to bring them the Gospel
